SASKATOON FOOD BANK & LEARNING CENTRE

C95 teamed up with the Saskatoon Co-op Food Store on Attridge Drive and Saskatoon Transit and collected food and monetary donations for the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre. For every bag of groceries donated, participants received an entry to win the Ultimate Ed Sheeran VIP Concert Experience, including the once in a lifetime opportunity to meet Ed Sheeran!
There were some outstanding contributions made throughout the day. Individuals donated many of the items on the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre’s Most Wanted Items list, including much needed infant formula, and over 500 pre-made Hunger Bags were bought from the Saskatoon Co-op Food Store in addition to grocery bags filled from home. C95 listeners also demonstrated they will go above and beyond for the chance to meet Ed Sheeran by going door-to-door requesting donations andsome individual donations of over 130 bags of groceries were received from a number of participants.
Proceeds from today’s events will be used to support the 22,000 Saskatoon families that utilize the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre’s resources each month.
