Who should we pick??

So excited that C95's new Bachelor is about to be chosen! We have narrowed it down to our top four contenders- and they each would make a great Bachelor!

A Family's Wish

We had a ton of families apply for C95's Christmas Wish program- unfortunately. That means a lot of local families aren't having much of a Christmas this season and were hoping for a little help. We wish we could have picked them all. But we could only select one deserving family, and we chose Sara and her four kids.

Happy Almost New Year!

  • PARTY TIME!!! Or not. New Year's Eve is always a weird night. I usually want to dress up and do something fun, like hit one of the city's many club parties or events but then I remember that it's usually hella cold. And there will be lots of drunks. And that I won't be able to get a cab in a million years.

Holiday Baking!

So, I've been on Weight Watchers on and off this year, and while I do like the program... I am not looking forward to trying to stick to it over the holidays! There are so many dieting landmines to watch out for over Christmas. Just yesterday my Secret Santa at work dropped off two Bernard Callebaut chocolate santas for me. Foiled again!

This is awful!!

I think this story is so terrible and gives women a bad name! However, Rob says it's awesome and he would totally do this if he was a chick!!

NY Woman Uses Dating Site to Get Over $1200 In Free Meals

Rob is a Grinch

Rob threw this little gem at us this morning- that he thinks store-bought Christmas cards are awful and terrible and he will only accept home-made holiday cards.

First of all, the day that Shauna or I get a homemade card from Rob: pigs will truly be flying. But he claims it's actually better to give NO card than a store-bought one. Shauna and I completely disagree, especially considering that we always write a personal message in each card we send!!

Hot winter fashions!

I don't know about you, but November/December is a super-busy time for us at the radio station. We have a ton of events, parties, etc. So, even though I've been trying to save money for my winter vacation, I've been buying a few clothing items here and there to have a few new outfits ready to go.

But after talking to Roxanne Woodley, owner of Tonic Clothing in Saskatoon (two locations) my itch to buy has grown! She gave Rob, Shauna and I her must-have list for winter fashion trends.

1.) Sequins- not just for clubbing anymore

Ground and pound!!!

That's what I want local boy Mitch Clarke to do to New Jersey's John Cholish when he takes him on in the octagon at UFC 140 in Toronto December 10th.

'Tis The Season (almost)

Love this pic! This guy is embodying my feelings about Christmas. For some reason I'm super excited about it, and it seems like everyone is really looking forward to it. I am getting started soon on my Xmas baking- and when I Xmas bake, I need to have Xmas tunes on. That's why I'm pumped about this website which is playing all holiday music 'til Xmas!

Black and Orange Day? Pffft.

Sorry, schools. But neither Rob, Shauna, nor I can get behind you on your decision to delete Halloween and school and make it "Orange and Black day". Apparently the reasons range from officials worrying about kids wearing offensive costumes, to religious reasons, to worrying about kids who can't afford good costumes.
