All things Bacon, photo radar, and a free Vegas trip (for me... maybe)

Years ago I told a few people that I was considering starting a fridge magnet collection. Big mistake. That Christmas I got 79 fridge magnets.

I seem to have a reputation as "The Bacon Guy" and so I am now receiving so many bacon updates that I can hardly keep up. Here, though, are the latest submissions.

First, what do you suppose these are?

They are bacon iPhone cases!

That's nothing, though, compared to this beauty... Some of you will have heard or read about the noble Turducken. This is a chicken stuffed in a duck stuffed in a turkey. Imagine how good that would be? Hmmm.... I wonder what could make a Turducken even better? Easy!

Take these ingredients...

Put them together and you get a Bacon Turducken which is to say a Turducken wrapped in bacon. Wow. Pure man of genius.

PHOTO RADAR

I heard a lot of conversation yesterday about Photo Radar. One oft quote reason for photo radar was, "There is a lot more traffic now in Saskatoon." Um, yes. That's true. But, traffic tends to make traffic go slower so this cannot be used to justify photo radar. Photo radar will tend to make people go slower when there is little or no traffic. That's good.

I am in favour or photo radar but know what it's for an what it does before arguing in its favour.

VIVA LAS VEGAS

Into the last days of the Expedia.ca Vegas contest. As of this moment I am in thrid place. I would LOVE your vote. Please. Thanks. Heather has me on a tight budget and my only hope of getting to Vegas is getting there for free. CLICK HERE and throw a vote my way (and Rob C's way).

Viva... Viva... Las Vegas... Thank you. Thank you very much.

Elvis has left the building.

BacTurDuckenon....
