Hannah Montana, Sunday zoo day, and lots of dog poo

I had a great weekend. As usual, this means that I didn’t do very much.

On Friday night I took a group of C95 VIPs to Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus The Best of Both Worlds. I really liked it. The 3d is amazing. We are going to be seeing a lot more 3d as more and more theatres convert to digital projectors and screens as the effect is now seamless and doesn’t leave one’s eyes feeling all bugged out.

Miley Cyrus is a talent. She is a great performer. The Jonas brothers… not so much. They looked to me like they are adequate to stumble through the Hannah Montana TV show but cannot really play it out on stage. Miley, for instance, looks to have a long, legitimate career in front of her. The Jonas Brothers, though, look like they are actors pretending to be musicians. Interestingly, a lot of the young women in attendance used the Jonas brothers segment as an opportunity to make a dash for the bathroom.

Yesterday my family went to the zoo. It seems that a lot of families had the same thought as there were lots of us licking our way through the still snowy paths. Even the animals seemed to sense the nice weather and they were all out on display. Here is me, Heather, and the boys (both photos courtesy of grandpa...)

And, here is one of the White Bengal tigers (born in captivity in Ontario).  There was a rumoured possiblity of pregnancy. I couldn't see an obviusly pregnant tiger, though. Maybe. But, I couldn't tell.

This Friday I will be cleaning up someone’s backyard. If you are like me you promise yourself to keep up with the dog poop over the winter and then you never do. Come spring it’s poo stew. Friday we will bring breakfast from Smitty’s and I will clean your backyard. Send me a photo of your dog(s) and you could be the one. Here are some that we have received so far.
