Heather is still the champion and the back of the Sphinx

Sunday morning saw the Saskatoon Roadrunners 10 K Classic. I had two goals for the race. First, run faster then 50:00 (a personal best) and second, dethrone Heather as the family record holder. Heather has run one and only one 10K. She ran in 49:50 so I was hoping to take over the family record.

In the end I finished in 49:53. A perfect time. I beat the 50:00 mark as I hoped and Heather is still the champion which is probably best.

Think of the Sphinx. I am sure that you can immediately call up a mental image of the Sphinx. I stumbled on this photo of the back of the Sphinx. In all the photos in all the years, I have never seen this angle.
