Leg waxing and COOL UK video
For a year I have been preparing for the Frank Dunn triathlon at Waskesiu this weekend. For the record... I am not going to win. I am there to finish feeling strong. And, I am feeling as fit as I have ever felt in my life. So, I decided to ramp it up and feel like a real triathlete -- leg waxing!
I asked some cyclist friends, "Why do cyclists shave their legs?" The answer varies. I have heard: (1) It makes you faster; (2) road rash heals quicker; and (3) It looks good and makes you part of the club." Well, ever since John Lipscomb called me a sucky baby I have always fallen prey to peer pressure. Off it comes.
I got waxed by Treena at Spa Academy. Here is one leg having been done:
For the record, it hurts. Especially around the knees. If it's a look that I am going to keep I think I will probably just go with the razor. I polled several women on the esthetician treatment that men should get. It was a dead heat between pedicure and back waxing. Phew... I'm glad I have a bare back.
I stumbled onto a VERY cool BBC video.
A new BBC series makes use of satellite technology to create stunning images of Britain from above. To see it CLICK HERE
And I don't know... but I think I might be able to outrun Batman.

Cyclists
Well most cyclists wax there legs so when they get a scab it doesn't get hair in it and pull the hair.. Which i have heard alot being a cyclist.
Wax
Actually the more you wax the thinner, finer and lighter your hair becomes. Eventually it will be very sparce and won't hurt as much!
I had waxed my legs when I
I had waxed my legs when I was 13, it doesn't hurt as bad as it might for men, you guys have a lot more hair than women do.
But now I don't have any hair left to wax, its nice to not worry about shaving in the summer.
