Long weekends and Bill Shatner

I have nothing strenuous planned for the long weekend. We will have to wait and see, of course, what Heather has planned for me -- I have a bad feeling that a lot of yard work is in my future. Supper tonight with my father and family. Barbecue and Botchie Ball tomorrow night. Mother for belated mother's day and birthday lunch on Monday.

On a serious note, I am starting a write in nomination campaign. Regular readers will recall that Rob and I started "Bacon Appreciation Club" (CLICK HERE for video -- I note that there are no Book Club videos on YouTube). Shauna did not want to be left behind so she started "Shauna's Book Club." So far, though, she has refused to read and review any good books like Tintin, Asterix, or anything by Mickey Spillane.

So... I am campaigning for a book. I have just ordered it. I will read it right after I am finished with a brief biography of Einstein. The book is "Up Till Now" and it's an autobiography.

A great Canadian.
