Taste of Saskatchewan Theme Game, Helen Mirren, and the future Guitar Legend Hall of Fame

I was at Taste of Saskatchewan yesterday with my friends Dan and Murray -- I felt quite unmanly as I was the only one without his man bag. I like Murray's definition: "If you keep your money in it it's a purse otherwise it's a man bag."

We developed the "Taste of Saskatchewan Theme Game." It's quite simple.

(1) You draw lots to see who goes first.

(2) In the order determined each player assigns someone else a theme. For instance, I assigned Dan the theme "Meat."

(3) The group then proceeds to each booth and each player must eat every item that falls within their theme.

There will be a lot of disagreement along the way as to wether dish X does or does not fall within a particular theme. For instance does the Beef Taco Salad from Odeon fall into the theme "meat" or not.

My suggestion for those wishing to play the game view the menu by CLICKING HERE. Pick a theme that will really force your opponents into a LOT of food. For instance the theme, "something with chicken" will result in 14 entrees for your opponent. Whereas "something with fish" will only result in 2 dishes and "tofu" will get only one.
