My HNIC song

Okay, honestly I don't care that CTV has the rights to the "Hockey Theme", previously owned by Hockey Night In Canada. I watch hockey every Saturday night and I get it, it's nostalgic. On the other hand, they could use the sound of fingernails on a chalkboard to open the show and I would still watch the game. It really makes no difference in my life either way.
That being said, it does give me the chance to do what I do best, and that is write beautiful songs. I have tried to capture the nostalgia of sitting around with the family on a Saturday night watching Hockey Night In Canada...or at least what it was like with my family. Rob, screw sending that in as a submission for the HNIC contest, release it as a single. That is the best thing I've heard since Dave was neti-potting on the air!!
