Tiger By The Tail

It's just one amazing thing after another with this guy. I sat and watched the U.S. Open golf tournament for 5 hours on Sunday. Tiger looked like he was dead in the water through most of it, but it's like watching Chris Angel do an illusion. You know he's going to get himself in some kind of predicament. You know he's going to seem to be struggling to get himself out of that trouble. You know it will come down to the wire but, somehow, he always manages to come out on top. The difference is that Tiger's battles are not illusion. They are reality. They are performances worthy of finest actors but, again, it's not a script. It's an amazing improvisation that always somehow ends with the drama of a fine thriller.

The reason this guy is so appealing to everyone is that you don't actually even have to like golf to get engrossed in the art of his performances. I don't know anything about art, but if I look at the greats...Picasso, etc...I can get something incredible out of it. That's the way Tiger is. An artist. He will try to paint another masterpiece today as he goes in to an 18 hole playoff against Rocco Mediate at one of the most prestigious major tournaments in golf. The only way Mediate has a chance is if Tiger completely implodes...but don't count on it.

I LOVE TIGER WOODS!!! =]
