Was There Ever A Doubt?

Well, he did it again (see previous blog entry). Tiger took it down to the wire, beating Rocco Mediate with a birdie on the last hole of the 18 hole playoff to take the U.S. Open to sudden death. He was just adding drama, of course, to what you knew would be another fantastic Tiger victory.
Is he the greatest athlete of all time? Physical fitness wise, okay it's questionable. Mentally, however, to me it's no contest. It's Tiger hands down. Trust me, there is no bigger fan of Wayne Gretzky than me. That being said, I don't think he holds a candle to Tiger when it comes to mental preparedness and prolonged execution under pressure.

How is getting driven around a golf course and having someone carry your clubs comparable to skating your butt off around the ice, being a team player and scoring most of the goals?
