Whew. I am beat. 2 nights of big shows and very few hours of sleep!

First, Kid Rock.  I had only minor expectations heading into the evening.  Knew a few Kid Rock hits but wasn't sure how much I would actually dig the show.

Back to work this morning after enjoying a week off.

Typically with time off, I leave town. But with an all-gal trip to Kelowna coming up in August (15 of us in total...those pictures may not be suitable for public viewing!) I decided to just chill at home for a week with the fam. Read a ton, suntanned, ate lots of chocolatey ice cream treats and visited friends.

What up?! I've been off since last Friday, just kicking around the city. 

I have some more time off in August, when I'll go away on a holiday to Kelowna with a giant group of girlfriends.   But for now, just chillin', catching up on sleep and getting lots of (forest fire smoke filled) sunshine. 

Sore, red, tired. Did I mention SORE? That's how I feel today, after the Lisa Rendall Golf Classic yesterday!

We had so much fun but holy crap do I suck as a golfer.  Not that I've practiced--ever.  But part of me thinks "how hard can it be?"...uh, how about impossible?!   

Like my co-worker Cary Howe, I think Canadian Idol may be experiencing the lamest season ever.  I haven't heard one person yet I think I would pay more than a couple bucks to see live.  And the way the judges blow sunshine up their rears is really getting annoying.  If they stink--tell them! 

Later today is the start of summer, my most favorite season.

I have now bought 5 new summer dresses and 4 pairs of heels to mark the occasion.

Really, I bought all that stuff for the 6 weddings I have coming up.  Or so I tell myself.

First wedding is tomorrow. BOSS CABBAGE HEAD is getting hitched!!!  

Had Shauna's Book Club last night, super fun as always.  One of the best groups of gals I've ever hung with.  We ate fab food from D'reens, great drinks and gossiped about our latest pick, Marley And Me. Here's a few of the gals with the all-new C95 Book Bag!

I was watching Oprah the other day, she was celebrating Barbie's birthday.

I LOVED my Barbie. Well, Barbie's...I had a good dozen or so.
