Holidays, Part 1 And DeAnna Is A Moron!

Back to work this morning after enjoying a week off.
Typically with time off, I leave town. But with an all-gal trip to Kelowna coming up in August (15 of us in total...those pictures may not be suitable for public viewing!) I decided to just chill at home for a week with the fam. Read a ton, suntanned, ate lots of chocolatey ice cream treats and visited friends.

BTW, my BF Danielle, in the front left, will be featured on this Wednesday's Takeover hosted by Tim Stone. Hope she doesn't bash me or tell out-of-school stories.
Took my nephew Malcolm to the Forestry Farm. LOVED the Tiger! And the 2 baby Bengal Tigers will be on our morning show Wednesday!

Is this not the cutest puppy ever? Our family friends' dog had puppies, they're 4 weeks old.
My nephew wasn't freaked...he got right in their house to hang with them.
And speaking of dogs, this is my Sassy. She's been a shedding machine lately. REALLY bad, hair all over the place. Then, after I just re-stained my outside bench, she hopped up. She knew she'd done bad. She was very remorseful.
We even dug out the old paddling pool. I was such a whimpy kid growing up, I made my mom fill the pool with hot water from the house.
A great, relaxing week at home.
And what up with Madonna and Alex Rodriguez??? Holy smack, that one hit me out of left field..(bad pun, honestly didn't even plan that).
Bachelorette 3 hour finale tonight. I can't wait. I'm a sucker for bad reality love tv shows. I want her to pick Jason, the single dad.

I think it is great she picked Jesse! Jason was super annoying! He was trying way too hard it was getting creepy! And who are we to say she picked the wrong guy?? They looked SO happy together and that is rare! SO...we will have to wait and see but I personally think she followed her heart and isn't that what any of us would have done??

Poor Jesse! He's ok. Will it work out? Not lkely but Jason's kid would have been difficult anyway - you're not my mommy! Jason was so annoying. Good looking maybe but incredibly annoying. I think she better go back to Graham once she and Jesse crash and burn.

I was yelling at the TV last
I was yelling at the TV last nite when Jason got down on one knee and she made him get up. WHAT ARE YOU DOING???? And then I almost barfed watching DeAnna and Jesse kissing and all the "i love you" while they were supposed to be doing the interview! Gimme a break!!!

I counted..she said "Honeyyyyyyyy" 12 times in the After The Final Rose.
I liked her in the Bachelor and for most of this season. But I think she's a bit of a loose cannon!

What was she thinking picking Jesse, Jason is hot and very romantic. The wedding won't take place next year, she will regret not choosing Jason.

WHY did she pick Jesse??? Jason had it all. She'll regret it. For some reason, it made me SO ticked off. Jesse will be all Mr. Good Times for a couple months..then what? She's a dumbo.

I agree with you! I want her to choose Jason the single dad too. He is a sweet heart and not to mention, easy on the eyes.

SUPER easy on the eyes! And he does seem like he has a good head on his shoulders. Wait, who am I kidding??? These relationships never seem to work out, only Trista and Ryan.
BTW, Cary Howe just emailed me that one of the guys earlier on in the competition is from his hometown. I think they had a bromance but it didn't quite work out!!!!

I can not believe DeAnna chose Jesse. Jason looked crushed. I think she led him on too long. I do truly feel she manipulated him for the last few weeks just for ratings on the show. I guess only time will tell if Jesse is truly her soulmate or if this relationship will last....not likely!

Hi Shauna,
I just got back to work after a week of holidays as well. I also visited the zoo, have you seen the two white peacocks at the zoo? They seem quite elusive.

No, I didn't see those guys. It was funny, I was really hoping to see the baby bear cubs but only caught the mom bathing herself--quite the scene! The monkey's were pretty funny, too. Have a great day! SF
