Green Day (the Band) in Saskatoon!

This isn’t a Rider Pride thing; this will rival U2 for biggest tour of the year. The reason for this enormous tour (38-dates so far no venues announced yet) is Green Day’s 21st Century Breakdown their eighth studio album out next month. And not long after it drops we’ll hear it live.

It’s their first tour in three years and they’re bringing some friends along to make it a 6 piece band! Guitarist Jason White, keyboardist Jason Freese and guitarist Jeff Matika will join lead guitar/vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, drummer Tre Cool. And like Beyonce we get to see them early in the tour when they’re still really excited to be playing the new material. Keep it on C95 for more details and to beat the box office for tickets.
