Watermelon - Nature's Viagra

Tim Stone's picture

Researchers at Texas A&M's Fruit and Vegtable improvment center found an ingredient called citrulline in watermelon. Citrulline can trigger production of a compound that helps relax the body's blood vessels, similar to what happens when a man takes Viagra.

Eat the whole thing and party all night!

There's about 60% more citrulline in the rind of the melon than the flesh. Just don't wear sweatpants at your staff BBQ party. That's 8th grade emberassing, especially if you don't have your science text book to help cover up the situation.

"These pleats are just flattering in the crotchal region. I'll have to take them back to the.... pants.... store.............. Don't act like you're not impressed!"
