♥ ♥ Share Your Story ♥ ♥
The driving force behind C95 Radio Marathon are the stories shared by the brave individuals affected by breast cancer.
Lisa Rendall simply told the truth about her situation and shared her story with a positive attitude, sense of humour and profound sincerity. She put a face to breast cancer in Saskatchewan and launched the platform for others to speak openly about their diagnoses.
♥ ♥ Pink Ribbon Fundraisers ♥ ♥
Support local businesses, community partners, and fundraisers who are giving back
through events and initiatives in support of the C95 Radio Marathon for Breast Cancer Research.
How YOUR Contribution Helps
In 2025, approximately 790 Saskatchewan women were diagnosed with breast, and 170 lost their lives.
It remains the number one most diagnosed cancer in women.
Saskatchewan Cancer Agency researchers are working to better understand how breast cancer develops and spreads,
working toward better treatments and outcomes.
Each year, approximately 37,500 screening mammograms are provided through BreastCheck,
helping detect cancer earlier when it is most treatable.
Every dollar raised stays in Saskatchewan to support research to find new treatments
and programs for breast cancer that help save lives.
All money raised will be donated to Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, the fundraising partner of Saskatchewan Cancer Agency.
How It Began
The C95 Radio Marathon for Breast Cancer Research began in October of 2000
when C95 Morning Show host, Lisa Rendall, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Upon Lisa’s stage four diagnosis, her immediate wish was to raise money to support breast cancer research
and find new treatments to help people affected by the disease live longer, healthier lives.
With inspiration from Lisa, the C95 Radio Marathon for Breast Cancer Research was born.
Lisa passed away on April 13, 2011.
Her legacy lives on today through the people of Saskatchewan and the contributions they make year after year.
Read more about Lisa’s story here.
Since it began, the C95 Radio Marathon has grown to the largest and most successful fundraising event
supporting the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, all thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters
throughout Saskatchewan.
