LISTEN TO LATEST SINGLE “HUNGOVER” FROM UPCOMING ALBUM EMOTION SICKNESS DUE LATER THIS FALL

July 17, 2023 - This fall, multi-platinum artist Fefe Dobson will be taking her live show on the road across Canada with stops in Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Saskatoon and so much more. Tickets go on sale July 21st here.

Fefe has steadily been releasing new music including singles “FCKN IN LOVE” “Recharge My Heart,” and last month she released her punchy new single “HUNGOVER,” which will all appear on her upcoming album EMOTION SICKNESS due later this year.  The sound of her new music is a return to Fefe’s earlier albums, combining angsty lyricism and unapologetic punk/rock driven production like the live recorded drums in the latest single “HUNGOVER”

The recent success of international artists like Willow Smith and Olivia Rodrigo with their rock driven pop anthems has shifted the musical landscape for the younger generation. This shift in sound broke the door open for pioneers like Fefe to be rediscovered and celebrated for the groundwork they laid. As NYLON Magazine thoughtfully notes “Dobson inspired Black alternative kids who saw themselves in her.”  Even SZA listed Fefe’s music as an influence for her #1 selling album SOS. The revival of nostalgia in modern pop music is apparent and Fefe’s earnest lyricism and edgy pop / rock sound, reminiscent of the aughts, is on the cusp of resurfacing into the 2020’s.

In early 2022, Fefe made her triumphant and welcomed return to music with her catchy pop anthem ‘FCKN IN LOVE’ which climbed to top 15 at Canadian radio charts, followed up by the buzz single ‘Recharge My Heart’ in late fall of the same year. Fefe now readies her new album, inspired by different eras of her own music catalog to pay homage to her influences over the years and really celebrate her own legacy in the alt space as a BIPOC female artist.
